Emma Briedis

Wisconsin-born author, Emma Briedis, brings a sharp edge to the grim and unsettling. She earned her B.A. in Creative Writing from Colorado Christian University. Her debut novel, Where Demons Dance, earned 3rd place in Western Fiction at the CIPA EVVY Awards in 2019. Since then, Emma has focused on carving out a niche in the thriller genre, and weaves together stories with psychological tension, complex characters, and startling plot twists.

Her upcoming novel, The Puppeteer—a gripping sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of 1968—is slated for release in 2026.
